Editorial and Interpretation Policy

Anatomy Steward interprets anatomical teaching objects through a calm, educational, and non-sensational approach.

The museum prioritizes structure, function, comparison, preservation, documentation, and public learning.

Version 1 focuses on low-sensitivity animal osteology, teaching models, preservation history, and digital references. The site does not display sensitive human specimen material in its first public version.

All content should be written to support learning, not shock. Images and object records should be contextualized with clear educational purpose, source type, access level, and sensitivity level.

Editorial Priorities

  • Objects require records.
  • Display requires context.
  • Preservation includes documentation.
  • Access should be intentional.
  • A teaching collection is a responsibility.
  • Comparison makes anatomy understandable.
  • Digital access increases the need for careful interpretation.

Guiding Sentence

The museum grows through documentation, not spectacle.
